DON’T SLEEP on this offer

and be sure to take advantage of this opportunity to unleash your child’s Black Math Genius!

The later you wait to take action, the more you are going to pay for this phenomenal, self-paced course that brings together Black history and Mathematics.

What we’ve discovered is that when we teach our Black and African children the truth about the origins of Mathematics, it endears them to the discipline, understanding, and power of Math.

We have the greatest weapon on our side in the battle for our children’s education, the truth.

It's time we use it.

Infusing history, confidence, and understanding into the learning process is how Black Math Genius is different and effective. It is amazing what a little bit of truth and knowledge can do for children who have been disconnected from their history and achievements of their ancestors.

The Black Math Genius Bootcamp delivers this insight and understanding to our children.

Math Kid

NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN WESTERN EDUCATION.

But ALWAYS REMEMBER you have to be the change if you want different for your children.

Chances are your child's education hasn't changed much since you were in school. It is still intentionally and predominantly taught from a European pedagogy or framework. Contributions by Black people are omitted. Equally troubling, the curriculum is taught in isolation and not from a wholistic standpoint that teaches the whole child; and more damaging - it does not prepare them to become contributors to shaping the future. Instead, the curriculum continues to prepare them to become riddled with student loan debt and job chasers.

With the Black Math Genius Course, we teach your child and family Advanced Mathematical concepts, the true origins of Mathematics, and Programming for the future. Did you know that the concept behind telling time - Modular Arithmetic - is the basis for Cryptography? Cryptography is a high level of Mathematics that can be taught to young students if they have a solid foundation. We're still graduating high school students that don't know their multiplication tables or how to convert between decimals and fractions. That's criminal!

What is
Black Math Genius?

Once your child completes this course they will have covered the following:

  • Arithmetic
  • Exponents, Roots, Logarithms
  • Egyptian Mathematics
  • Black Contributions to Mathematics
  • Philosophies and Principles from KMT
  • Python Programming
  • Counting in Five Languages
  • Algebraic Properties of Addition and Multiplication
  • Area and Perimeter
  • Integers
  • Solving Equations
  • Physics Concepts
  • Modular Arithmetic
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Introduction to Calculus

This curriculum is designed for students between the ages of 5 and 12 years old (but we believe even 3-year-olds would benefit with your guidance). Our children don't have a learning gap. The adults have a belief gap - they don't believe in our children the way that they believe in White children or Asian children doing Mathematics. It's EXPECTED that Asian children will be "good" at Mathematics. Black people gave the world Mathematics - our children stand on the shoulders of giants. If they are given the same exposure, they will be great at STEM fields as well, specifically Mathematics. The Black Math Genius Course does that.

Who is behind
Black Math Genius?

Assata started teaching at the age of eighteen! In her twenties, she used her work ethic as leverage to become a partner of a restaurant in Lansing, MI. During this same period, she set a goal of retiring in her forties. In February of 2017, at the age of forty-one, she retired from her district-level position at the University of Chicago's Urban Education Institute. Prior to that position, Assata spent five years as a high school principal where she brought a school from red to green in terms of education, staff morale, and budget. As a teacher and principal, she traveled the world teaching other teachers how to teach Mathematics, physics, and engineering in a fun and engaging way; effective leadership; and systems and strategies for running a successful school.

She has a Mathematics degree from Michigan State University where she also served as the program coordinator. In 2009, she was voted one of the top Mathematics teachers in the state of Illinois. In 2005, she decided to invest in real estate alongside teaching. This would be her vehicle to retirement. To make this goal a reality, she first accumulated several properties to bring in enough rental income to replace her six-figure salary.

Afterward, she started flipping single-family homes to sustain the standard of living she had become accustomed to.

Her workshops and speaking engagements are what she calls, "EduAction". You will be educated and you will put that learning into action. It's about building wealth y'all!

What people are saying!

They were great!

My son is 13 and we are in the process of deschooling. I asked him to try the sessions one time and he asked to attend each week. He said that if he had a teacher like
Ms. Assata, he would have
liked school more.

Celina Smith

It was phenomenally enriching.

My daughter felt encouraged and this has been the highlight of her Sankofa membership. She even logged back in last week hoping they would start another session.

Z Upose

Ms. Moore was EXTREMELY patient, respectful, and knowledgeable.

We used the time as family time and enjoyed it. It was nice to see other children from different places and see the "get it", understand what she was teaching. It was nice that Assata was well versed and able to handle a wide range of topics, including sparking interest in NFTs.

Marsha Barrow Smith

Exceptional. Patient and helpful. Showed love and respect
for each child.

My youngest son with dyslexia says she really knows her stuff and helped him with the problem and broke it down, and made it simple without struggle. He says her behavior was good. Didn't yell at kids if they got it wrong. But she kept the same nice personality and even when the time was up, she kept her heart open to continue to help us. Thank you!

What do I receive when I buy the Black Math Genius course?

Black Math Genius (BMG) is an advanced Mathematics and programming course for families that takes an African-centered education approach. When you buy the BMG course, you receive lifetime access to the program which consists of 48 lessons through our digital platform.

I have a 3 year old child/grandchild. Are they too young for this program?

No, your child is not too young. Black Math Genius was created for children for all ages to work at their own pace. The program begins with lessons on Kemetic Numbers and Kiswahili counting which are both appropriate starting points for young children. Young children love repetition and will enjoy reviewing these first two lessons frequently. Once your child has completed these lessons and is excited to move on, we encourage you to allow your children to guide you as to which lesson you should begin next.

I have a 16 year old child/grandchild. Are they too old for this program?

Black Math Genius was created for children of all ages. This is a self-guided program that allows your child to follow their genius by letting them choose which lessons to master. Although the course is laid out in a sequence, your child can begin at any point and can choose lessons that appeal to their interests.

I was never good at math. How can I guide my child through this advanced program?

Children will pick up on your energy if it is less than positive, so we encourage you to begin speaking positively about your math experience to begin with. Encourage your child by changing your mindset around math. Children are born learners and teachers. Ask your child to choose a lesson and teach you what they learn. Lastly, you are never too old to regain your math confidence so we encourage you to take the course alongside your child or in your spare time independently.

Is this a digital program or will I receive physical materials to accompany the program?

Black Math Genius is a fully digital program.

My child has an IEP (or learning disability). Will this program help them?

Black Math Genius is advanced Mathematics and Programming course that takes a non-traditional approach to teaching math. Our program is designed to put your child in the driver's seat of their learning experience. There are multiple forms of intelligence. It’s possible that the traditional methods of teaching don't play to your child’s form of intelligence. You may need to try presenting Math material in a different way in order for them to absorb the concepts. Depending on the type of learning challenges your child faces, you might not “cure” your child of their Math hurdles but find that your child thrives in our program because they find courses that appeal to their interests.

My child hates Math/isn’t good at Math/won’t do theirMath homework. Will this program improve their Math skills/hesitance?

The Black Math Genius course is a non-traditional math curriculum that uses African-centered educational concepts to awaken the genius in your child. The goal of our course is not to make them better performers on standardized tests but rather to take the fear out of math and replace it with math confidence. It’s possible that math may never be their passion but we are confident that the real world applications that this course teaches them will make math more appealing to them.

How much time a day should my child work on these courses?

Depending on the age of your child, the amount of time you spend on the lessons will vary. Pre-schoolers should spend no more than 10 minutes on the lessons while older children can complete lessons as long as the material keeps their interest. This course provides a supplement to their Math courses. We encourage parents to treat our courses as an opportunity for children to grow and explore, not as a punishment or grueling task.

When does my Black Math Genius course expire?

When you purchase the BMG curriculum, you receive lifetime access to the course.

I have three kids in three different grades. Do I need to order three subscriptions for the course?

Assuming all three of your children reside in the same household, we believe that ordering one subscription for all three children will suffice. Each child can work at their own pace and pick up lessons where they left off during the last lesson they completed.
