Urban Intellectuals has been leading a growing movement of families, educators, and stakeholders that are serious about raising proud Black children.
We are changing the world one child at a time and we would like to start with yours!
Through products like the Black history flashcards and services like our on demand Black History classes offered in our Sankofa Club, we have helped parents raise proud Black children all over the world. It has been a rewarding labor of love and witnessing the difference we are making in the lives of children and their families makes it all worthwhile.

What is the Black History Pep Rally?
This virtual, one day event aims to inspire children with fun, interactive activities about Black history. While learning, your children will be entertained and there will be some dancing involved as well.

Where is the Black History Pep Rally held?
The festivities take place via Zoom via an exclusive link that will be available only to those who have registered. This virtual experience makes it easy to impart important Black history and culture facts while spurring you and your children on to greatness.
This will be a life changing experience for your children for them to learn alongside other like-minded children in a fun, educational, and safe environment.
There will be music, singing, dancing, Black history, and love of our culture all done in a fun and engaging format. Your children will leave inspired, encouraged, and feeling better about themselves and their ancestors.

The Two Parts of this PEP RALLY
The first portion of the event is specifically for the children to have fun while dancing and learning about our history and culture. It will be high paced, fun, educational, and interactive to keep them engaged, active, and involved.
The second portion of the event is designed for parents. We will give you a strong understanding of grooming children in an African-Centered mindset that increases their self confidence and place in this world. We have a wonderful panel and list of discussions that will keep you entertained, informed, and empowered.
